VENUE: WARREN LECTURE THEATRE, TP, 3.30-4.30pm
About the speaker:
Alexander Hulme is a London based designer with 10 years experience working with brands like Muji, HP, Samsung & Panasonic.

Among his current project are a folding mudguard, a new kind of calculator and a new type of musical instrument in collaboration with Yamaha.
Topic of lecture:
“My work sits at the junction between the practical and the creative. Almost every project is a mix of creative exploration and technological application.
Balancing these contrasting values can be a challenge, but ultimately it drives the creative process in new and interesting directions.
During the lecture I hope to communicate both the benefits and challenges of this dual approach to product development and talk through some of the processes used. “
The lecture will take place in the Warren Lecture Theatre at TP at 3.30-4.30pm with Q&A afterwards. To ensure a prompt start please be in your seats by 3.20pm.
