HEA STEM Annual Learning and Teaching Conference 2014: Enhancing the STEM Student Journey

The next HEA STEM conference entitled “Enhancing the STEM Student Journey” will take place at the University of Edinburgh on 30 April – 1 May 2014

The conference will include keynote presentations, debates, individual papers, posters, and student poster competitions.

Our keynotes  include Dr Helen Walkington, Principal Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University who will be speaking about 'Enhancing the STEM Student Journey - Students as Researchers'; Dame Wendy Hall, Professor of Computer Science at the University of Southampton and Nike Folayan, Chair of AFBE-UK who will be highlighting issues relating to the overarching theme of 'STEM careers for all?'.

We're excited to announce that Professor Iain Stewart of BBC Earth fame will presenting awards for STEM Technician of the Year and will be giving a talk after dinner about his subject area.
