Institute of Making public open day for 1st birthday


The Institute of Making is 1 year old.

To celebrate they are having a public open day.

It's free, no need to book, just drop in from 1pm.


Door close at 5pm and there is limited space.   




"We will be one year old! You only turn one once, so we will be celebrating in style!
Join us for a compulsory 99' ice cream and watch the magic unfold when making ice cream with liquid nitrogen. We will have some traditional party games but be prepared to be surprised, they will all be material inspired! 

Activities will vary from the science of making and throwing that perfect paper aeroplane, to suspending helium balloons in mid air. 
Finally there always has to be a party gift to take home: the first 400 people will will receive a surprise material inspired party gift."
 
They will be launching their Materials Library app, which will be available to download via iTunes.
