ReWise 2014

Running over 4 weeks, ReWise: The Big Workshop brings together all of your MDX support services to make sure you get the best from your exam period and after.

Our series of key workshops and drop-in sessions offer support with your exams and coursework, preparation, employability, staying focused and being relaxed.

Here's a taster of some of the workshops you can sign-up for:

Dyslexia and Disability Support: Alternative Revision Technologies

Monday 17 March, 11am-12pm, Room: CG49
Friday 21 March, 11am-12:30pm, Room: C117
Explore alternative ways to revise and prepare for exams, oral assessments and presentations using assistive technologies including: text-to-speech software programs, mind-mapping software, mobile phones and apps.
This interactive workshop offers you the opportunity to experiment with University networked programs such as Read-and-Write Gold, Mindview and other technologies.

Assessment and Exams

Monday 31 March, 3pm-4pm, Room: C212 Monday 31 March, 3pm-4pm, Room: C212
Focus on key issues relating to exams and assessment such as where to find your exam timetable, how to make alternative exam arrangements and how to sit exams at an alternative venue. Discover the rules and regulations of exams, develop your understanding of the 20 point scale and discuss the options you have if things don't go to plan. There will also be time for students to participate in a Q&A session – with Achievement Officers and UniHelp.
