Sample of the month

This exciting structure is part of “Molo’s benchwall + thinwall collection of flexible honeycomb walls, building blocks, seating and lighting made from paper and textiles. All materials used are renewable, recycled and/or recyclable. The honeycomb structures allow a little material to go a long way with a standard softwall being 99% air and 1% material when it is fully expanded.”

The structure measures 455mm tall x 455mm wide (18" x 18") seat 3m (10') long when fully expanded and is made of kraft paper. For further information see their website: http://molodesign.com/

You can find this and other samples of materials in the Samples Collection located in the Materials Room in the basement of the library.
