Sample of the month: Icelandic Moss
Grown in Scandinavia this tactile product is cleaned and preserved to keep it soft and natural and is supplied on flexible MDF panels which can be used to create wall features.
The moss remains fresh as it takes in moisture from the air and therefore requires no watering, sunlight or maintenance. Consequently it is a very practical alternative to a living wall and also has good acoustic insulation.
A sample of Icelandic Moss can be found in the Samples Library housed in our Materials Room in the Basement of the Library.
